Honestly, the amount of times I see people miss this step makes me SO sad. It is SUCH a missed opportunity.

Submitting your site to Google Search Console is a crucial yet often overlooked step in maximising your online presence.

Here’s a simple test: open an incognito window and search for your business name. If only the homepage appears in the results, it's likely the site hasn't been submitted to search consoles.

What you should see, is your home page link, and 3-6 pages linked and listed underneath.

Bonus points if your Google Business profile appears to the right, and under your website links you have a number of social profiles, media features etc.

If not, you’ve got some work to do my friend! And please get onto it stat.

Google Search Console plays a vital role in ensuring that all your site's pages are indexed and visible in search results. For a new site, indexing might take time, but if your entire site isn't showing up in searches for its name after a couple of months, you're missing out on a significant opportunity for visibility.

Dominating the search engine results pages for your business name isn't just about ego; it's about accessibility and making sure you're easily found by potential (and previous) clients.

And don’t forget Bing – it's still a key player in voice-activated searches, mobile searches and even our new bestie GPT.
