Everyone says “you’ve got a phone, just start creating” but how often do you actually see high-quality phone footage? Most of the time it’s washed out, or maybe you're just having difficulty getting consistently good footage in different settings...

Everything but the gear. This is the stuff that keeps us running, without Xero the business isn't a real business, it's a hobby. Without Notion and Milanote there's just chaos. Without DaVinci, Adobe InDesign, or After Effects our projects never see the light of day. The boring stuff like Google Calendar, Meet, or Chat, they keep us connected. So yeah, there's a bit more to it than just creating content.

After reading all the reviews online, we had fairly low expectations going into this, regardless this little DJI Osmo Nano has blown us away.

Yes, ultimately it is exactly what it is, a tiny vlogging camera but it has a 1/1.3” Sensor and shoots 10-bit log footage in 4K up to 120fps.

The best part about these tiny cameras is how creative you can get with your shots, so needless to say, this is our new POV cam for behind the scenes footage.

Let’s fix this lighting setup using the 3-point lighting system, the lighting triad, to create cinematic lighting.

It’s not necessarily about having expensive lights or all the equipment, it’s about how you shape light, control shadows, and create separation in your frame.

Wrapping up our second shoot just 5 days after transitioning into our business full time, I was reflecting on what I could takeaway as learnings from both experiences.
