Alfred certainly hit his peak late yesterday afternoon and today he is showing clear signs of being impacted by an increasingly hostile atmosphere. Though it must be said that this has come about around 12hrs earlier than anticipated. It is still moving south and will continue to until later tonight where it is likely to adopt a more south westerly motion for about 24-30hrs. Coastal crossing is still not expected this weekend though weather conditions will deteriorate in CQ and SQ.
