We always refine our details for the best finish.

We are seeing a lot lately of this detail yet the with on exception, no step detail. The horizontal facia and vertical skirting boards sit flush with each other with a 4mm gap separating the two. Only problem is, that gap becomes uneven very quickly resulting in a poor look visually.

The step detail eliminates this problem and hides the expansion and contraction, also allows for an LED strip light option 😉

When you love Millboard so you create a maintenance free entry.

New entry pivot door 2400mm x 1200mm. Standard solid core door encased using Millboard Golden Oak batten and board cladding completed with a Golden Oak bullnose theshold 😉

Little or big things we do with our details that some may not notice but we do so that’s why we don’t settle.

- The circle finishes to an exact full board on the outer edges
- The internal boards finish evenly both sides
- The join in the circle is exactly halfway and the gap replicates the board gap.
- The circle, cut free hand is perfect the entire way.

We take all details down to the mm😉

Beautiful trip up to the Blue Mountains for this deck replacement.

We’re doubling up the existing joists, fitting Everlast

Pioneer in Spotted Gum and adding a new drink rail across the top of the handrail.

The stairs will be sanded and sealed, with a few tired slats, fixings and fascia details getting sorted while we’re here. Not just new boards, we’re making sure everything underneath and around them is done properly too.
