Well - it felt strangely grown up to be dressed, and out in public, at My Little Kitchen cafe at 9.30am having a meeting - after 112 days of being at home pretending (to be dressed in meetings). 👏😍👏😍

So good having smiling faces back at our tables!

Very excited for my friends and clients Sue and Bill at The Burrow at Wombat Bend in Dixons Creek whose property will be on Gardening Australia tonight at 7.30pm on ABC Australia.

Over 40+ years these talented horticulturalists have created a serene nature reserve on what was once a treeless over-grazed paddock. And they are an absolute pleasure to PR. Tune in if you can.

So, local council elections will be held by post in Victoria in October 2020. Any women who wish to run for council - I'm running a free zoom seminar this Friday night to help you with your campaign statements. We are the only ward that has a female representative around the council table and so VoicesOfWomen are helping women who have put their hand up to run this year.

So, if you yourself are running or you know of any women who are - please tag them so they can sign up to this - it will be very informal (it IS Friday night after all!) but hopefully it will help stimulate some thoughts, consolidate your elevator pitch and help you create an aspirational & compelling statement that will ultimately translate into votes and get you a seat at that table.

Some mornings I wake looking not all that dissimilar to this Mary River turtle. Tho her punk hairdo is actually algae! At least mine is just hair, isn't slimey and can be tamed!!

Photographer Chris Van Wyk opposed the Queensland government’s 2006 proposal to build a dam on the Mary River, as it would damage wildlife habitat and pristine snorkelling spots. The punk turtle pictures went viral as you can imagine and the dam was never built!

You'll all be relieved to hear Jeff Jenkins has not matured in 5 years.

They are just words I know - but not ones I was expecting when I looked down at my shopping list in the shop just then. So yes I did, laugh out loud like a nutter in the shop. :-)
