Getting the traffic is just the first part of the journey βœ…
Now we just have to get them to convert πŸ€”

While people on your page you need to make it clear enough and valuable enough for them to want to complete your lead form or purchase online.

Using 2% as our conversion rate, work backwards based on the number of sales / leads you want. 100 webpage visitors = 2 conversions. So if you want 200 conversions per month you will need 10000 visitors based on this avg conversion.

A popular way to increase conversions is A-B testing. Basically testing multiple CTAs, copy, landing pages, forms, layouts and offers and seeing which one resonates with your audience better and has higher conversion rates.

Once you know your conversion rate (your Google Analytics reports will give you the info you need), and you know your target leads/sales, you can then build out your digital marketing strategy to get that traffic to your site every month.

This is a simple process that can optimise/reduce your marketing spend and make it easier for people to transact with you.

Make going through this process a Christmas present for your business (and yourself). It will be a gift that's always giving over the months and years to come πŸŽ…πŸŽ„

What's the first thing you do when you want to know something?
Let me guess.....you reach for Google!?

Well, 68% of all online experiences begin with a search engine.
How good would it be if we put our brand/offer out in the abyss of the internet and all this traffic wanted to snap it up!

In reality, this will never be the case because every person who is searching online is at a different stage of the buying journey. A sexy offer means absolutely nothing to someone who doesn't yet know that they need it.

From a SEO and sales strategy perspective, it is important to have keyword rich content and offers that speak to potential customers in all stages of the buying journey:
βœ… Awareness - they don't know what they don't know
βœ… Interest - they want to know what they don't know
βœ… Desire - they want what they now know
βœ… Action - they purchase what they want based on what they now know
βœ… Support - they validate the purchase and brand
βœ… Loyalty - they want to know more about the brand
βœ… Advocacy - they want to advocate the brand based on their experience.

As we wrap up 2022, imagine how many more sales you could have made if you spoke to all people in the 7 different stages of the buying journey? Imagine how many referrals and repeat purchases could have been made by focusing on the final three stages?

How do you climb a mountain? πŸ§—
One small step at a time....

If you could make a small investment into something that would increase the likelihood of customers doing business with you by 18%, would you do it?
Ummmm YESSSSSSSSSS that is a no brainer!

A series of micro commitments, also known as touch points or events can be a game changer for businesses. All it involves is providing potential customers with opportunities to interact. The more small interactions, the higher the likelihood they will make a big interaction with you βœ…

Here are a bunch of micro commitments that you can build into your Google Business Page, Website, Social Media, Emails, Point of Sale Process, Post Sales Process:
1- videos
2- images that require a click to view
3- free resources or gifts
4- CTA buttons
5- competitions
6- questions, polls, surveys, quizzes
7- engaging content & copy
8- conversations

What's your brand saying about your business? πŸ€”

What is on your page for your business will impact how potential customers perceive your brand. Your social media branding is essentially the digitization of your reputation.

Back in the day people would perceive a brand based on its signage, service, advertisements and word of mouth. These days all these things are still important but a newish player has taken the podium for importance.

Recent research tells us that 52% of people use Facebook to validate doing business with you or not. So here is what an example customer flow might look like:
1- the google the keywords for what they are after
2- they find business websites that provide what they are after
3- most people then jump on Facebook to suss out the brand, offers, reliability, service, quality.
4- the digital reputation helps the buyer say yay or nay on what brand to do business with..

Simple Social Media Checklist:
Are you posting regularly? (at least once per week)
Are your posts adding value? (or are they taking away value)
Does your brands TRUE personality shine? (or is it all over the shop)

Are you missing out on mass eyeballs? πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

Google is like a motorway, fast moving with loads of traffic. If you want mass exposure then you want to be on the motorway, not one of the little side service roads πŸš—

Pretty much all online traffic goes through Google at some point which means as business owners we need to make sure our brand is represented correctly for the services and products we provide.

πŸ€” Is your Google Business Page up to date with details, services, offers and posts?
πŸ€” Is your website setup with SEO in mind?
πŸ€” Are your websites core vitals at a Google approving level?
πŸ€” Are you ranking for keywords that are driving customers to you or just random traffic?
πŸ€” Are you treating your website like your lawn? You need to mow your lawn at least once a month to keep it maintained and visually appealing. Your website is the same 🌾
