Qld Title Recap 8/11/25

The weekend just gone the team and I made the trip out to our club track, Kingaroy Speedway for my first race of the season and also the Production Sedan QLD Title, and all I can say is that yes it was a disappointing end but overall I’m extremely proud of the entire weekend.

My team gave me an absolute hot rod in each heat, and I managed to get two heat wins and a fourth, that put me off the front row, which is another great achievement for this car and my crew doing two massive titles and qualifying on the front row both times.
Just before our feature we had a downpour of rain but the track crew and the club did an absolutely amazing job to get the track back and be able to display a great feature race providing some amazing racing.

I was cruising for the first half of the race with a slight mistake from me off the start falling back to 5th but I got back to 3rd before a yellow came out with 18 laps to go. 1 lap in my right rear driveshaft came out of the diff causing me to have no drive, sadly I tried to get out of everyone’s road but in the same time clipped another car cause them to hit the fence and DNF, it was disappointing taking out another car that probably had a really good shot at it.

Overall my team worked flawlessly all weekend giving me a car I feel was the best shot at a good result. The track team and club did everything spot on while getting riddled with set backs but pushed through to provide a great track. I cannot be disappointed with the weekend because all the development for this car is going in the right direction and I’ll try again next year.

🏁Gladstone 7/6/25 CQ Slam Finale🏁

Last night was the final night of the series and the season for me and the team. Started off the night good with a 3rd and 1st and a 5th, which put me off of 6th for the feature, I managed to get to 4th early and stay their for a bit until a yellow which bumped me up to 3rd. Ran 3rd for the rest of the race till the last corner when Joel sustained a flat tyre and I managed to just get him on the line for 2nd.

Overall a strong finish to the season, and really happy how the car and team have performed this season.

🏁Aussie Title Recap🏁

Night 1 was a great start to the weekend car was really good and had great pace. I finished with a 2nd, 1st, and 2nd in the heats.

I went into night 2 5th on points, so I knew I just had to finish with a decent result and I could potentially lock in to the A-main, the car was hooked up and I got the win in heat 4, which put me off of 2 for the final. This is a massive achievement for me and the team to start off the front row in an Australian Title. The car once again was on rails and I got to the lead early. The car felt good the whole race, until I fell off with a few laps to go. Finishing in 3rd.

I am extremely proud of myself and my crew for achieving this result and especially to have speed in every single race.

A massive thankyou to everyone that helped me throughout the weekend. Charli, Tyler, Tayissa and dad worked extremely hard, Mum, Craig and Charli’s family and everyone else for coming out to suppourt me on the hill. A big shoutout to Tim Cozens for helping me at post race checks, the Mcgee, Nelson and Cook family for helping with tyres.
