Do you even exist in AI?
That was the question we sat with at Stepney Supper’s Search 2.0 panel () and honestly, it’s the one every business owner should be asking right now.
Search is changing fast. People aren’t just Googling anymore, they’re asking ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini for recommendations, shortcuts and “just tell me what to do” answers. If you’re not showing up in those conversations, you may as well be invisible.
We covered a lot of ground:
→ How the machine actually “thinks” (spoiler: it doesn’t)
→ What being found really means in 2026
→ The shift from keywords to answers, trust and reputation
→ Why earned media now drives more of your AI visibility than your own website
→ Spotting AI slop and proving your content is actually yours
→ Where ad spend is genuinely working, and where it’s quietly being wasted
Huge thanks to our table host Justina Gardiner for steering the conversation, fellow panellists Celia Harding, Simon Morelli, Sam Phillips and Luke Heffernan for the brain food, and for setting the table.
The whole discussion was a lot to digest in one sitting, so we’ll be posting short snippets bit by bit over the coming weeks.
Follow along so you don’t miss them!
