Did someone say “road trip”?!
Trading pixels for pastures: the design team spent last Friday at Agfest visiting our clients and seeing our work in the wild. 🚜✨
It wasn't just about the steak sangas (though they were great) or getting to see the baby animals (though they were cute); it was about seeing our work come to life in the hands of the community and supporting our customers.
Here are a few highlights from our rounds:
- Staying Safe: We caught up with MAST to talk safe boating and stopped by the Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) stall to talk home fire safety and the next bushfire season. It’s always a proud moment seeing the safety guides and kids' giveaways we’ve worked on over the years still helping keep Tasmanians prepared.
- A "Stormy" Encounter: Our Creative Director, Brennan, got a little too into the spirit at the SES photo installation we designed! It’s all part of the push for the new storm warning system. 🌪️
- Drought Ready Tasmania (DRT): A major win is seeing kids line up for the eco-friendly cardboard board game, and teachers grabbing our classroom card decks. Plus, a huge shoutout to The Tea Equation – using their local Tasmanian tea in our custom teabag packaging for DRT was a big hit (and yes, we stocked up for the office kitchen and Mother’s Day). ☕
- Progress checks: We had great chats with OneCare about the progress they are making on the new 56 retirement living villas under construction at Barossa Living in Glenorchy, and with Tasmanian Irrigation about the irrigation schemes in progress (even seeing some on the drive).
-Connecting with Partners: We even had the chance to touch base with several of our favourite suppliers.
It’s one thing to see our designs on a screen or delivered in a box (with that sweet fresh ink smell), but seeing people interacting with it in the middle of a paddock is why we do what we do. We’re coming back to the studio with full hearts and plenty of fresh inspiration for next year!
