If you need crisis accommodation and youth support, there is help
If you’re homeless or at risk of homelessness, you’re not alone. Over 26,000 Aussie kids don’t have a safe or suitable place to live. That’s why Platform is part of a group of specialist services here to support you.
At Platform, we get it. We spend every day with young people. We take the time to listen to what’s happening for you and then we work with you – and others where it makes sense; like your family, other agencies and the community – to get your needs met.
WE EXIST to help vulnerable young people have the opportunities, skills, and support they need to actively participate in their social and economic communities.
Couch surfing isn’t a solution
And while in the short term it might feel like it’s your only option, in the long term it may not be. Safety and stability are key. Once you have that, there is so much more out there for you than worrying about where your next bed will be and how you’re going to get your next feed.
We’re here to help you see your opportunities. But more than that – we’re here to help you grab them with both hands, whether it’s by learning, working, or something completely unique to you
Youth crisis support: We, or one of our partners, are available for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Food & accommodation: A comfy bed, warm meals, clean clothes and technology to connect… we’re nothing if not practical.
Personal & family support: We’ll give you a Case Worker who’ll talk through your stuff to work out the best ways we can help.Couch surfing isn’t a solution
