Great to see TOSTÉ featured by Glam Adelaide.

It’s been a privilege for KSD to work alongside Jin Kim and Jessica Min in bringing the TOSTÉ brand to life, an Australian-grown sesame oil brand with a much bigger ambition behind it.

Years in the making, their vision is not simply to create a premium finishing oil, but to help build demand for an emerging Australian sesame industry.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in shaping the brand, packaging and digital experience around that story, and excited to see where it goes from here.

For Shottesbrooke’s Single Vineyard Series, we evolved the existing label system to elevate the range and better express the individuality of each vineyard, while maintaining continuity with the established brand.

A more resolved packaging architecture introduces a refined hierarchy and a stronger sense of provenance across the range.

Minimal and confident in its expression, the result is a premium, site-driven system that allows the story of place to lead.

Developed in close collaboration with The Small Town Soap Company, the Australian Collection celebrates the colour, texture and character of native Australian flora.
Expressive painted artworks wrap each bar, giving every variety its own visual identity while sitting confidently within a cohesive design system. Paired with a refined brand mark and clean typographic structure, the result is a collection that feels artistic, contemporary and distinctly Australian — a natural extension of the Small Town Soap Co brand.

Our approach to the packaging was deliberate, building on the existing brand framework while introducing greater weight, structure, and sense of place.

Laying the Foundation Stone, a cut above the rest

KS Design Studio helps premium w**e and spirit brands evolve with clarity, craft and purpose. Our recent collaboration with Cut Hill Wall Distillery began with Foundation Stone, its first own-release wh**ky and a powerful expression of identity, heritage and intent. Matured in Australian red varietal and mead casks, Foundation Stone laid the groundwork for a refined brand evolution that stays true to the past while building for the future.

From the updated name and bespoke hand-drawn wall illustration to a rich coastal palette of deep teal and gold, every element was crafted to reflect the distillery’s enduring character. The result: a premium, tactile packaging suite that speaks of place, substance and distinction, from capsule to carton, designed to exceed expectations.

In 2023, we had the pleasure of rebranding Food Nation, a bold, much-loved local brand that had already enjoyed well over a decade of success under (then) owner Rachel’s creative direction.

Having created the original brand identity many years earlier, it was a rare opportunity for us to evolve something we knew so well. Together with Rachel, we explored how the business could step into a new era, keeping its playful energy, but injecting a fresh sense of fun, relevance and longevity.

Through collaborative ideation and design, we developed a vibrant new brand mark and visual language that’s organic, expressive and uniquely Food Nation — just like Rachel herself.
