Hair transformation giving total model vibes! ✨

After a few frustrating trips elsewhere, my beautiful niece rang me up a few weeks ago and asked, ‘Aunty Kyla, can you please colour my hair?’

I never like to discredit anyone in our industry. We are all professionals, working incredibly hard, often underpaid, and we possess so much talent. But when we sat down to discuss options, I immediately saw the issue: previous stylists hadn't stopped to consider if the colour choices actually suited her natural skin undertone, eye tone, and the undertone of her natural hair or her value contrast.
That is exactly why previous results never felt "quite right" to her.

It’s an incredibly important step in the consultation that sometimes gets missed. A stylist will look at an inspo photo and say, "Yes, I can achieve that!" And of course, they can!
