We've been busy with birthdays here at Kingthing HQ 🎂

You wouldn’t know where she finds the time, but in between a busy work schedule, Taihlaura Page dedicates herself as a Fundraising Coordinator with Make-A-Wish Australia, Launceston Volunteer Branch. Helping bring joy, hope, and unforgettable experiences to children living with critical illnesses.

This year, she’s also organised the annual Make-A-Wish Afternoon Tea at Tranquility Gardens on the 23rd May, and you’re invited!

Enjoy a beautifully curated High Tea experience featuring handcrafted sweet and savoury delights by Delicious Little Things, along with a glass of bubbles on arrival (with optional bottles available for the table 🍾), all while supporting an incredible cause.

Tickets close this Sunday, and past events have sold out quickly - so don’t wait too long to secure your spot.

Mums do so much more than we often get to see, and we feel incredibly lucky to have some amazing ones right here in our team.

Carley, Josie and Beck are constant reminders of the strength, patience and care mums bring into every part of life. They juggle so much, balancing work and family with commitment and grace, and in doing so, help inspire the next generation in ways that truly matter. 🫶

Rob/Roblett/RK — you might be off diving in caves, reading books poolside, and enjoying the peace and quiet away from the office… but did you really think we’d let your milestone birthday pass without a proper shoutout?!

Happy 60th to the man who rocks an orange jacket like no one else, loves an extra-strong black coffee, and is quite simply one of the kindest, most compassionate, and genuinely caring people we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.

We hope you’re having the most incredible trip and look forward to celebrating properly with you when you’re back.

Our office winter Kingthing Olympics have officially concluded 🏂

From the moment the torch was lit, our team tackled weekly challenges; from curling to Ringlopp, a simulated snowball showdown and a snowboarding contest to wrap it all up.

Congrats to our podium finishers 🏆

Last week, our team swapped screen time for strategy and knuckled down for our annual planning day.

To refuel, we stopped by our friends at Du Cane Brewing for a sneaky slice - because no planning day is complete without a food reward 🍕

Name a better way to celebrate three years… we’ll wait 😎
Last week marked three wonderful years of Charlotte at Kingthing. To celebrate, she chose a game of Hitster, where you put your pop music knowledge to the test. It really made us discover who truly knows their early 00s bangers and who just whistles along to the tunes (yes, we’re looking at you, Rob!).
