Sumei Creative offers both Interior Design and Garden design services bring to clients a new level of Design Integration and coherence. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience we strive to meet your needs and increase the value of your property through sound design and effective construction solutions. Living in LA for almost 7 years, her early days were spent designing for the Hollywood crowd

before returning to Singapore where she designed display apartments and homes, fine dining restaurants and 5 star hotels like the Crown Plaza in Quanzhou and the Inter continental in Dubai Festival City. About a year ago, during her visit to the down under she fell in love with the city and people of Perth and decided to stay for good. After making Perth her home, she has established her design practice with a unique focus on creating spaces that are not only aesthetically driven but also health generative, nurturing and transformative. Depending on the client’s intent the transformation could be in efficiency and effectiveness or in the area of lifestyle and well being. With her wide exposure to designing health spas for many hotels this feat have not been difficult to achieve. Due to her passion for working with nature she has pursued formal studies and acquired exposure in the design of gardens and landscapes. Hence she is able to incorporated landscape design into her repertoire.

Client Mignon was quite unhappy with the fence designs she gotten from other designers when she finally got me to propose for her. She did not want to have the typical jagged fence that others had for sloped lands but one that was continuous and yet complied with Council requirements. (5 photos) (7 photos)

Developing Business Networks...I was actually quite surpirse by how much I enjoyed developing business networks for Australian businesses that I personally find have unique products and high corporate ethics. It was a resounding success and I hope to help more Australian companies find their way into tough Asian markets with my advice, help and support.

One such company is Jenny Jones DEsigner Rugs. Being a Designer and Artist myself, I feel their rugs are like Art on the Floor!

When I arrive her place was a bit on dull and montonous side...she is a practmatisit and always busy and had no time to make her apartment into a 'home'. So whilst staying over with her the next few days, I went about transforming and making over her unit into a space we would love to live in...I should have grab a picture of the before from my sis to put in here for contrast so I can remember its transformation.

When it came time for me to leave...I was actually sad to go as I was feeling almost at home...
