TIPS for 2017.
The speedy advancements in technology give us plenty of opportunities to communicate and engage with customers online.
That’s great. BUT …
It doesn’t mean you need to rush out and start creating online surveys, newsletters, email promotions or a Facebook business page.
It means, you need to know more about your customers, their habits, and what they do so you can engage them, wherever they are.
The customer experience is the most important thing you can focus on in 2017.
Keep customers happy, and listen to their needs first.
Don’t get caught up in the online hype that many businesses are.
Here is an example of doing online badly:
I asked a business on the phone to not send me an automated ‘give us feedback’ email on their service everytime I speak to them.
Their response was ‘nothing we can do about that, it’s automatic.’
Wow, great service I thought.
