There was a time when I thought visibility meant being brave enough to push through.
I’d tell myself: “Just post. Just show up. Just get over it.”
And sometimes, I did.
But it always came with a quiet aftermath — tension in my body, spiralling thoughts, a sense that I’d done something unsafe.
It wasn’t that I didn’t believe in my work. I just didn’t feel safe being seen in it.
The shift came when I started looking at visibility through a nervous system lens — not as something to force, but as something to befriend.
I began asking:
🌿 What does safety feel like in my body?
🌿 How can I show up without overriding my capacity?
🌿 What if visibility could be gentle and powerful?
From there, everything softened. Showing up began to stop feeling like a performance and started feeling like an expression.
If you’re in a season where visibility feels heavy — it doesn’t mean you’ve lost your courage. It might just mean your system needs a little more safety.
You’re not behind. You’re just human. 🌙
