There was a time when I thought visibility meant being brave enough to push through.

I’d tell myself: “Just post. Just show up. Just get over it.”

And sometimes, I did.
But it always came with a quiet aftermath — tension in my body, spiralling thoughts, a sense that I’d done something unsafe.

It wasn’t that I didn’t believe in my work. I just didn’t feel safe being seen in it.

The shift came when I started looking at visibility through a nervous system lens — not as something to force, but as something to befriend.

I began asking:
🌿 What does safety feel like in my body?
🌿 How can I show up without overriding my capacity?
🌿 What if visibility could be gentle and powerful?

From there, everything softened. Showing up began to stop feeling like a performance and started feeling like an expression.

If you’re in a season where visibility feels heavy — it doesn’t mean you’ve lost your courage. It might just mean your system needs a little more safety.

You’re not behind. You’re just human. 🌙

For so many entrepreneurs, visibility brings up fear, overthinking, and overwhelm.

Laura joined The Visibility Lab with that same tension — knowing she had something meaningful to share, but feeling frozen around being seen.

Through nervous system regulation, co-regulation, and supportive community, visibility became something else entirely:

✨ doable instead of daunting
✨ grounded instead of pressured
✨ safe instead of performative

She left feeling calmer, resourced, and more confident about being seen — and that’s what sustainable visibility looks like. 🌿

If you’re ready to experience visibility that feels safe and steady, I’d love to welcome you into The Visibility Lab. 💫

“My relationship with visibility is still unfolding… but The Visibility Lab gave me a whole new way of approaching it.” 💫

This is one of my favourite shares because it captures the truth: visibility isn’t a quick fix — it’s a relationship.

Georgi came into The Visibility Lab unsure, navigating fear and freeze, but left with clarity, compassion, and a spacious plan rooted in her values.

✨ What shifted wasn’t just her strategy. It was her nervous system.✨

When visibility no longer feels like a cliff-jump but a supported practice, everything changes — your message, your presence, your confidence.

The Visibility Lab is where emotional safety and practical action come together — so you can build visibility that lasts.

Testimonial continued...
Seeing visibility through the lens of nervous system states was a springboard for more self-compassion and realistic expectations. I clarified my values and messages, created a plan that feels spacious and aligned, and felt supported every step of the way.

The nervous system-informed approach Chantelle brings is critical — it helped me move through fear and freeze with greater awareness, presence, and self-support. This Lab is a rare space that combines emotional safety with practical action — and it’s one I’d happily recommend.

You’ve probably been told to “just get over it” — to post more, push through, or fake confidence until it sticks.

But what if your nervous system is simply protecting you?

Visibility isn’t a mindset issue — it’s a body and mindset partnership.

When your body feels unsafe being seen, no amount of affirmations or strategy will make it sustainable.

The work isn’t about forcing yourself to be visible — it’s about creating the inner safety that allows visibility to feel natural.

💫 This is the work we do inside The Visibility Lab — where showing up becomes a grounded, regulated practice rather than a push.

Ready to feel safe being seen again?
Join The Visibility Lab — 6 weeks to regulate your visibility nervous system and create sustainable confidence. Enrolments open until 11th October.

If visibility feels like walking into a spotlight you didn’t ask for — this might help. 🌙

What if the hesitation you feel before posting isn’t resistance… but protection?

There’s a part of you — what I call The Keeper of Your Visibility — that’s been quietly deciding how safe it feels to be seen.

When you meet this part with curiosity (not pressure), everything starts to shift.

I created a free guided visualisation to help you meet your Keeper — and begin building safety around visibility again.

When I caught myself sabotaging this launch…

I realised this launch wasn’t really about belief—it was about capacity and resourcing.

Running it while travelling in the UK (and closing doors a week after flying back to Australia with jetlag!) was never going to be easy. And I didn’t set myself up with the best plan.

👉 Classic self-sabotage.

The shift happened when I forgave my past self for putting this pressure on my future self. Now I’m focusing on what I can do each day, based on the energy I actually have.

That looks like naps, nourishing food, hydration, breathwork… the simple things that rebuild capacity. And it’s helping me write the emails, share the posts, and stay present for this launch.

Here’s the truth: visibility can be messy. Patterns resurface. Wobbles happen. That’s why co-regulated support is everything—whether it’s biz buddies who help you reset or spaces like The Visibility Lab (doors are open now 👉 https://chantelleking.com/the-visibility-lab/).

Every level of visibility brings new challenges. For me, stepping from behind-the-scenes branding into a more front-facing role has been one of them. And it’s asked me to get really clear on how I want to show up.

Because branding on its own is nice. But bringing it together with supports around belief, identity and visibility? That’s the bridge to real connection.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Prepping for round 2 of The Visibility Lab! 🙌🏻

Reminding myself that the pathway to visibility is different for everyone. My journey with this feels slow... breathing into this, inviting compassion to the parts of me that want to race forward without the foundation to support sustainable visibility.

If you bump into visibility with a sense of harshness to/with yourself, I invite you to consider this round of The Visibility Lab to practice another way with me. Doors are open! https://chantelleking.com/the-visibility-lab/

When clarity doesn’t come… and a snail shows up instead 🐌

This morning, I sat down at my desk (coffee in hand, ready to "be productive")...
and before I knew it, I had 20 tabs open, 5 projects half-started, and a growing sense of urgency in my chest.

I was desperate for clarity.
I kept thinking I’d find it in the next tab, the next task, the next dopamine hit. But the clarity never came.

Eventually, I took a breath and pushed back from the desk. And that’s when I noticed a snail — yep, a real-life snail — slowly making its way across the shelf under my desk.

No windows or doors were open, so I have no idea how he got there (his name is Steve now, by the way). But in that moment, he stopped my spiral.

I paused. I breathed. I smiled. My next move was (obviously) looking up the metaphysical meaning of snails.

Here’s what I found:
The snail, in metaphysical terms, often symbolises patience, perseverance, and the ability to retreat and protect oneself. It represents slow but steady progress, reminding us to appreciate the journey and not just focus on the destination. The snail's shell also signifies a safe space, a place of retreat and introspection.

And that’s when I realised:
My problem wasn’t clarity.
It was dysregulation.

I hadn’t checked in with myself. I hadn’t grounded. I hadn’t taken a moment to ask what energy I was working from. I just jumped into doing — disconnected from my own capacity.

Here is what I’m learning (again and again):
Clarity doesn’t come from force. It comes from regulation.

Today, I forgot how I want to be.
Then I remembered.
Tomorrow, I’ll begin again.

If you needed that message too — you’re welcome.
And thank you, Steve 🐌

If you’ve ever felt like you have so much to say — but never know what to post when you sit down to write…

Or you keep circling the same few content ideas without feeling like your real voice is landing…

Mel’s upcoming workshop is going to feel like a deep exhale.

It’s called “A Year’s Worth of Content Ideas”, and it’s happening live on Thursday 31 July at 10am AEST.

In this 90-minute session, Mel will walk you through her exact process for generating over 60 content topics a year — the kind that turn into podcasts, blogs, reels, trainings, or whatever format feels most alive for you.

But here’s why I really want you to consider joining:

✨ Content isn’t just marketing — it’s brand embodiment.

When your content reflects your values, your energy, and your deep understanding of your people… it becomes more than just “posting online.”

It becomes a living expression of your brand.

Mel’s approach is all about helping you:
— Create from clarity, not confusion
— Say what your audience truly needs to hear
— Tap into flow instead of forcing ideas out of thin air

If you’re ready to create with more ease, presence, and purpose — I highly recommend this one.

Lately, I’ve been approaching visibility a little differently.

Before I begin any work, especially the kind that asks me to be seen — I pause.
Not to scroll.
Not to psych myself up.
But to actually check in with how I feel.

Do I need a blanket? ☁️
A playlist to set the tone? 🎶
A cup of tea and a few deep breaths? 🫖
A candle to mark this as something intentional?🕯️

This little pause has changed everything.
It’s reminded me that visibility doesn’t have to come from force. It can come from care. From capacity. From resourcing.

Inside The Visibility Lab, we’re building new rituals and relationships with being seen.

Last week after the opening session, one of the attendees said:
“Your reframes around visibility are already starting to sink in — soooo good.”

If you're curious about this slow, gentle path to showing up — you can join the waitlist to be the first to know when the next round opens. The waitlist link is in the comments below.

You don’t have to push.
You can pause.
And still be visible. ✨

I didn’t create The Visibility Lab because I mastered visibility.
I created it because I haven’t.

Because I know what it’s like to:
→ feel too tender to post
→ overthink every word
→ question whether what I say even matters

And I know how healing it’s been to be with that — in community.

This isn’t a challenge or a strategy drop.
It’s a co-held space for business owners who want to meet visibility gently.

The Visibility Lab is for you if…
→ You deeply care about your work… But when it’s time to show up, your mind goes blank
→ Or you post, then want to immediately disappear
→ Or you just keep avoiding it — even though you want to be seen

This space is about building the capacity to be visible — without forcing it.
We begin soon. It’s small, intimate, and built with softness in mind.

Taking some time to rest my mind (not so much my body 😅) before The Visibility Lab begins.

As I’ve been preparing for this beta program, I’ve spent a lot of time at my desk, very much in the ‘doing’ and the practical elements such as setting up landing pages, writing email sequences, scheduling posts etc.

And now I’m taking some time away (even during the launch period) to clear and prepare my energy and the space I’m inviting people in to.

Tending to visibility also requires tending to yourself.
Nature is a way I tend to myself.

The ‘pressure’ to be visible during a launch is not as heightened for this launch as it has been with others.

I’ve been using tools that I share in The Visibility Lab to turn the feeling of pressure into a sense of peace and I’m noticing the subtle changes.

Do you feel a sense of pressure to be visible during a launch? If yes, what supports do you gift yourself?
