Why Apex?
I’ve had a few people ask me now:
Why Apex?
Why property services?
And where the hell did this idea come from?
Fair question.
Because on paper, this probably looks like a random move.
But the truth is, it started from something pretty simple.
A good mate of mine was getting his house ready to sell and needed the place cleaned up.
So Mak and I jumped in to help.
We worked with what we had, rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into it.
Three big days later, after a few hard lessons, plenty of sweat, and seeing the place completely transform, something clicked. IYKYK
There’s something seriously satisfying about bringing a property back to life.
A tired yard sharpened up.
A dirty driveway cleaned up.
A house exterior looking fresh again.
Grass so green you just about need sunnies to look at it.
That job made me think:
Could this actually become a full-time business?
Then the bigger question hit:
How do we do it properly?
Not as a side hustle.
Not as a backyard setup.
Not half-done.
Properly.
Commercial-grade gear.
Better systems.
Clear communication.
Sharp presentation.
Reliable service.
That’s where Apex came from.
A local Mackay property service built to help homeowners, agents, landlords and businesses get their properties cleaned up, maintained and looking sharp - without chasing five different contractors.
Mak and I are building this from the ground up.
Early days.
Big goals.
Plenty of hard work ahead.
But this is where it started.
One mate.
One property.
