Farewell & All the Best!

Last Friday we said farewell to our admin superstar, Christine. 💛

Christine has been the backbone of our team behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure the rest of us could do what we do best.

We sent her off the only way we know how- cupcakes with her face on them, a team lunch and a whole lot of love from everyone at Bright Light Marketing. 🧁💛

📸 Instagram Just Got a Fresh New Look, After 10 Years! 📸

For the first time in a decade, Instagram has updated its wordmark, and the internet has thoughts. The new design swaps out the familiar cursive script for a bolder, more modern hybrid font, a big move for a platform used by billions.

But not everyone's convinced. Designers around the world are debating whether the new stylised "r" reads more like a "z", with some already jokingly calling it "Instagzam". Bold move or one step too far from the design many of us grew up with?

Even the biggest brands need a refresh sometimes, but it just goes to show, even a small tweak to a single letter can spark a global conversation.

One year of Christine at Bright Light Marketing, and we celebrated in the best way we know how. 🎉

Since Christine is not exactly a fan of having her photo taken, we did the next best thing. Her Baby photos. Hidden all around the office. Every drawer, every corner, every spot she least expected.

Once she had tracked them all down, we sat down together for a morning tea stacked with all of Christine's favourite treats, because one year deserves to be celebrated properly.

Christine, you have been an incredible part of this team from day one. We are so lucky to have you, and we cannot wait to see what the next year brings.

This week Bright Light Marketing welcomed work experience student Amelia, and what a week it has been. 🌟

Amelia hit the ground running, getting hands-on experience across some of the most in-demand areas of modern marketing, radio advertising, SEO, Google Ads, social media strategy and Meta Ads.

She brought great energy, asked fantastic questions and picked everything up with ease. It has been an absolute pleasure having her in the office this week.
