With our recruitment hats 🧢 on over the coming weeks an no doubt a few top candidates checking out our socials 🤩 we thought it would be helpful to share our simple tips to nailing a first interview 🔥

1️⃣ Dress to impress - You only get one shot at making a great first impression.

2️⃣ Build Rapport - as above, it sends the wrong message to sit in a reception on your phone, talk with the receptionist or other candidates, it shows you want to be part of a team.

3️⃣ Make eye contact, shows great confidence and assures people your the right candidate for the job.

4️⃣ Get familiar with the company’s website and social media - knowing a little about what’s happening will help you stand out above their rest.

5️⃣ Have some questions - asking about the company’s direction and goals will get the interviewer excited, too many people say they are a great employee yet only want to know what they will get from the job, not what the can offer the employer.

6️⃣ Be Yourself - Oscar Wilde said it “Be yourself, everyone else is taken” don’t try to be who you think the company is looking for, it will come across ingenious, be yourself, wear a smile and what will be will be.
