Had the pleasure of laying down some ink for winter merch run. Specialising in traditional Japanese tattooing, he fused Japanese motifs with elements from old-school tattoo convention posters and flyers. When the artwork’s bold and well-composed, opting for a single-colour print can create a really strong impact, allowing the artwork to shine through without the potential distraction of colour. Sometimes, less really is more.
