When should I send my wedding invitations?

It depends on a few key things: where you’re getting married, how many guests are travelling, and whether you’ve already sent Save the Dates.⁠

But here’s a general guide:
＊ Local weddings with Save the Dates: send 3–4 months out
＊ Local weddings without Save the Dates: send 5–6 months out
＊ Destination weddings: send 6–8 months out (or earlier!)⁠
⁠
If you’re not sure when to send yours, I’ll help you figure out the timeline that suits your plans — and make sure your design and print schedule works backwards from that.⁠

Bonus tip: always allow time for proofing and printing. With me, you’ll get a custom schedule that includes everything from design to delivery.

Nicola & Dave's wedding was all about considered details and warm hospitality — and their on-the-day stationery pulled it all together beautifully.

Their menus were printed on beautiful crisp white card, featuring wax seals and a cool-toned blue silk ribbon that subtly tied in with the bridesmaids’ dresses. Clean, classic and effortlessly elegant.

But what really made an impression? The oversized place cards.
Inside each one was a personal, handwritten note from the couple — heartfelt, funny and deeply personal. A love letter to every guest at the table. 🥹

It’s these little moments — the unexpected ones — that guests remember most. And it’s why I love working closely with couples to bring their vision (and their personalities!) to life in print.
