There’s just something about WA sunsets… doesn’t matter how many you see, they never get old. 🌅

Moments like this make you realise how easy it is to get stuck doing the same thing every day, listening to people who’ve never actually done what you wanna do.

We spent years on the tools, doing what we thought we had to… until we started learning from people already living the kind of life we wanted.

Not saying you need to pack up and leave tomorrow… but sometimes you’ve just gotta back yourself and take that first step.

If you’ve ever thought there’s more out there than the usual routine… you’re probably right 👍

Most people think kids learn life in a classroom…
but the real lessons aren’t taught there.

They’re out here.
Trying to light a fire that won’t start
learning which wood works… and which doesn’t
getting it wrong… then figuring it out.

Teaching my girls the simple things
how to build a swing from a bit of rope and a tree
how to use their hands
how to slow down and think

Simple skills…
but they build strong, capable humans.

And out here… there’s no rush.
No pressure.
Just time together.

Because one day, this won’t be their childhood anymore.

And I’d take moments like this
over a lifetime of being too busy… any day.

Your an incredible wife and mum to our two little girls, the kind that gives everything she’s got every single day. You’re patient, kind, selfless and always the life of the party when it’s time to have fun.

You show up for us, your friends, and everyone around you without hesitation. You give your whole heart in everything you do and we’re so lucky it’s ours.
