Just the other day, my business partner Chase Gibson shared his origin story with the world.
It got me (Adrian Lea) thinking about my own journey, how we met, and what lies ahead for you through the content I share.
My journey begins in an unexpected place: the construction industry.
Yes, you heard that right.
My days were filled with hard hats, building plans, and the constant hum of machinery.
Despite the fulfillment it brought me, I felt a deeper calling, a passion yet to be discovered.
Then, everything changed.
The loss of my father Charlie in 2016 was a profound turning point.
He had an unwavering love for his work, a passion that deeply inspired me.
In his memory, I vowed to find a path that ignited a similar fervor within me.
The transition from construction to the world of online fitness coaching was daunting.
I was venturing into the unknown, trading concrete and steel for digital landscapes and virtual communities.
During this time of exploration, I crossed paths with Chris in 2017.
This encounter was more than just meeting a mentor; it was a pivotal moment that defined who I needed to become in this new arena.
Chris taught me the essentials of online business crafting offers, generating leads, and mastering sales.
But more importantly, he helped me undergo a transformation, equipping me with the mindset and skills necessary to navigate and succeed in the competitive world of online fitness.
My journey didn't end with online fitness coaching.
Meeting Chase through Chris was a game changer in 2017.
Together, we recognised the untapped potential of LinkedIn within the fitness industry.
But my entrepreneurial spirit didn't rest with Growthlink.
I embarked on another venture, founding Growth Outsourced with a different partner, Kristian in 2020.
This step marked another chapter in my journey of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Chase's decision to focus on another venture, Diiiploy, led him to hand over the reins of Growthlink to me in 2019.
In November 2023, Chase and I reconnected and decided to join forces again in Growthlink, this time with Taylor.
Our reunion wasn't just a merging of paths; it was a rekindling of our shared entrepreneurial spirit and vision.
As we look toward 2024, our focus is on building the Predictable Profit Accelerator community.
This is the culmination of our collective experiences, a hub designed to share our most effective, systems, strategies and insights in business.
