Are you getting frustrated with your unresponsive PC?

If your PC has Windows 10/11 installed and you only have 4GB of RAM, you may be in need of a memory upgrade. While it technically meets the minimum requirements, it's not a practical minimum.

So how much RAM does your Windows PC need? As this article rightly points out, a practical minimum would be 8GB.

"Well, you can get away with the 4GB minimum. Things start to get a bit sluggish once you have Google Chrome running with a few tabs open, or you try to do something like serious photo editing.

Forget about things like video editing (unless you're just topping and tailing a video) or serious gaming.

It's just going to end in frustration.

If you want a PC that doesn't frustrate you, then doubling that RAM to 8GB is going to give you a lot more freedom and flexibility. Google Chrome is going to feel a lot snappier, photo and video editing becomes a reality, and you also have enough RAM for gaming."

Some very relatable information!

Most marketing newsletters are boring.

"As busy marketers, we try not to spend all of our time scouring the internet for useful information.

Our inbox was supposed to be a place we turn to for quick, digestible communication from companies.

Instead, we are now constantly flooded with marketing newsletters that provide very little value to us."

So why do most marketing newsletters suck?

You can never be too careful with your personal data. These days, it's even becoming increasingly difficult to safeguard the data you choose not to share. This leaves the privacy-minded with a bit of a dilemma.

"It's common knowledge that Facebook knows everything about you, even the data you choose to withhold. Take, for example, your contact number or email address. Many of us opted out of giving this away when we signed up for Facebook, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram because we didn't want to be searchable using these pieces of data.

But, alas, many of us have realized that even if we don't provide data to Meta directly, someone else will. When someone signs up to any of Meta's services, they are asked if they want to share their entire address book to make it much easier to find connections. This is how Facebook got hold of details even if the user had never had a Facebook account."

But can we trust Meta???

"While many will take having their contact numbers and email address permanently removed or blocked in the future as a sign that Meta is serious about user privacy, Heather Burns, author of the book "Understanding Privacy", thinks that the tool is just "privacy labor."

The Customer Journey and Profitable Ad Campaigns

The reality is that most Facebook ads fail. Don't get confused yet though, hear me out. You might be surprised! According to the 80/20 rule, also known as the "Pareto principle", 80% of your results come from just 20% of your efforts. The key is to find your 20% and put everything in to it.

The Customer Journey:

In the world of marketing, it is crucial to understand that people are on a journey. Whether it is a journey towards making a purchase, exploring new interests, or connecting with new communities, we must learn to move at the appropriate pace for each person in order to truly engage them and keep them coming back to our message. In many ways, this journey can be seen as a sort of "magnetism": it attracts or repels potential customers depending on its effectiveness in drawing people in and holding their attention.

To create truly effective marketing campaigns, then, we need to hone our skills of understanding both human psychology and how ideas spread through populations. We need to think carefully about our messaging and offer the right products or services at the right time to get people engaged while also providing them with valuable information that will help educate them further down the road. Ultimately, it all comes down to finding that sweet spot where people simply can't resist being pulled into your message and become devoted fans and advocates for your brand. So if you want to succeed in today's crowded market landscape, take people on a journey that is magnetic and engaging – but above all else, keep things moving at just the right speed for them.

Profitable Ad Campaigns:

The first step to creating a profitable ad is to clarify the pain/problem that your prospect is experiencing. What are they struggling with? What are their goals? Once you have a clear understanding of where they are and where they want to be, you can begin to create a bridge between those two points. This bridge should be a "no-brainer" offer that makes it easy for the prospect to say yes. Lastly, your ad should have a magnetic message that engages the prospect, illustrates how you can solve their pain/problem, and converts them into a paying customer. This message should be clear and concise.

In order to be profitable, your cost per acquisition (CPA) needs to be less than or equal to the average order value (AOV). This is a key metric in any business, as it affects everything from your marketing strategy to your overall revenue. This ensures that you are making a profit on each customer who orders through your platform.

In addition, it is essential to have a congruent and "watertight" experience that creates a clear cognitive connection between ad traffic and the rest of your system. This helps to reduce leaks and prevents potential customers from getting lost along the way. By following these steps, you can create an ad that is profitable and effective.

To achieve sustainability in your business, it is also important to build a solid foundation that will allow you to scale without blowing out CPA/AOV. With the right strategies and planning, you can create ads that truly drive success for your business.

It can be tough to remember all of these things when you’re juggling a million other tasks, but if you take the time to focus on the critical few and put Facebook to work for you, your business will reap the rewards. If you're like most business owners, you probably think of online marketing as a necessary evil. You know you need to do it, but you really don't want to because it's just so. . . time consuming. And expensive - not to mention confusing. A lot of people might think "Facebook Ads don't work". The problem is, the people that think this, never have the assets to get ads to work. It's never a traffic or ads problem - it's always an offer and messaging problem.

Effective marketing is all about people and understanding their psychology. When you understand the people you're trying to talk to, then you can put your message in front of them. Sounds obvious right?
