These packages won’t suit everyone’s requirements so I have extras you can add on or swap out with other features accordingly, including a branding kit, blog articles, website copy, content sourcing and shop setup.

I recently finished up a 5 month backfill role at doing digital campaigning, primarily managing their social media.

I had an awesome time working with all the incredible YSAS staff, especially David, the manager of advocacy and communications, to create impactful content.

While I was there I helped YSAS to reach 1000 Instagram followers, and increased their TikTok following from 200 to 2700 followers.

YSAS does incredibly impactful work and I was so glad I got to be a part of that by growing their audience.

Well then here’s 3 simple tips to make your captions more readable!🤓

1. Having a clear and engaging opening line 🏁 You want to hook people in from your first line so that they’ll keep reading. Start with an intriguing question, a controversial statement or just state exactly what your post is about that you know people will be interested to read about.

2. Break👏up👏your👏text👏 Nobody wants to read one big chunk of text on a social media post so make sure you’re using line breaks to ensure your audience can easily read it.

3. Use emojis!! 😎🤩🥳 Emojis add a pop of colour and fun to your caption to make it a more engaging and exciting to look at.

Today marks one year since I started Ruby Marshall Media, so I thought I’d take this opportunity to reintroduce myself on here!🥰

I’m Ruby, the face of Ruby Marshall Media, and I provide digital marketing for social change👩‍💻

I grew up in Alice Springs/Mparntwe, and I moved to Melbourne/Naarm 6 years ago for university and have lived here ever since.

At uni I studied a Bachelor of Environmental Social Science and have a background working in the environment sector and the union movement. I have always been passionate about using communication to create a positive change in the world, so that’s how I ended up deciding to do a certificate in comms and media in 2020. This led to me working as a digital organiser in the union movement, where I learned so much.

In July 2022 I decided I wanted to take the leap and start freelancing full-time doing digital marketing, and here we are a year later!

It’s been an incredible experience and I am just loving it. I have worked with some awesome clients over the last year, working to create positive change using digital marketing. I love that I get to do such a variety of work every single day, and I am constantly learning.

When I’m not working you'll find me listening to podcasts about pop culture, cooking up a tasty new recipe, going on adventures and spending wayyyy too many hours scrolling TikTok.

A massive shoutout to everyone who has supported me in my freelancing/business ventures, I couldn’t have done it without you 💕
