There’s a specific energy that comes from watching your parents work hard for a result that didn’t compound.
Some kids absorb the work ethic and copy the playbook. Get the good job. Pay the bills. Repeat the cycle but cleaner.
Some kids absorb the work ethic and rebel against the playbook.
Build something. Risk it. Try to break the cycle entirely.
Both are valid. Both are paying respect to the same sacrifice in different ways.
If you’re the second kid — your family probably isn’t your audience. Find the people who get it. Build with them.
