Communication involves a duty of care. Did you ever think about the sensory impact of your speaking on your listener? When you speak, the tone and emotion is registered and impacts your audience viscerally.
Altruists realise the greatest risk to the relationship would be to compress and dominate their listener. To corner or dictate renders respect absent. As such your ability to self regulate and manage your emotions will impact directly on vocal control and inflection. Work on integrating the multiple dimensions of your speaking system. Resonance, specifically oral forward resonance, is the premium tone of voice that builds your charismatic impression, acoustic energy and sonic brilliance. Vital for opera singers but also highly recommended for elite speaking and getting the attention and positive value bias your ideas deserve.
