Techie Tip: IT'S TIME TO REVIEW & RENEW YOUR WEBSITE! 🖥📲

💡Review your website for fresh insight on how new visitors perceive your business. Make sure you start with a deep dive into your statistics paying close attention to individual conversion rates (hopefully you're tracking these!), bounce rates, pages viewed per session, devises used to access and traffic origin. You can also do some snooping into your competitors stats by running them through https://neilpatel.com 💪
💡Once you have got a handle on the stats, test out your site on multiple devises to assess the experience. Now check out the competitors on the same devises. How does yours stack up? 👀
💡Now it's time to revise any out-of-date written content, images, headings, call-to-actions and design elements that may turn away potentials leads. Consider A/B testing to make sure you're making progress in these decisions and not going backwards in terms of conversions. ☑️

Techie Tip: HOW TO GO ABOUT BATCHING BLOG CONTENT

💡Blog content batching ensures that you have QUALITY content waaaaay in advance. It removes all the stress from content production and keeps you one step ahead of the competition. It's really worth it! So how do you do it? Reserve ONE DAY a month to let your creativity run wild. List down every topic that you think would appeal to your target audience. Research. Find inspiration. Note any industry-specific or theme days you can work into your content schedule. Remember your brand voice. Edit the list. Repeat.
💡Open an excel sheet. This is where you can place your content ideas and come back to it whenever inspiration strikes. Your excel sheet also acts as your content plan and editorial calendar.
💡 Prioritise quality over quantity. Don't get overwhelmed with the number of blog posts other businesses have or how often they update their blogs. Focus on what you can do, set your own limits & standards, and stick to a schedule that works best for you.
💡 Ask for help! Leverage the strengths of guest writers (or a digital agency 😉) that can help you plan out your blog posts, write for you, and publish quality content in your brand voice.

Today marks the first day of PLASTIC-FREE JULY ♻️🌏♻️🌏

Started in 2011 by Rebecca Prince-Ruiz, an Aussie based in WA and founder of the Plastic Free Foundation, Plastic-free July is one of the most influential environmental campaigns on the planet. We love its mission, "seeing a world free of plastic waste," and we're up for the challenge this whole month and beyond. 📆

Let's honor the first day with some useful tips for reducing plastic-use 👉
💡When grocery shopping, try out reusable cloth bags for fruit and veg instead of the plastic bags the shop provides. You can buy these bags at many major shops now or order them online from eBay or similar. 🎒
💡Refill shops are opening up all over Australia - bring along your bottles, bags, and containers and refill everything from flour, rice, and pasta to dishwashing liquid and shampoo! Ask on your local Facebook group where your closest shop is. 🍚 🎒🍝
