Cotton tees and me go way back, so when I was invited to attend the AS Colour store in Fitzroy to celebrate their collaboration with Australian Cotton for World Cotton Day, it was a “yes please!”

Why do I like Australian cotton so much? Firstly, when you buy Australian cotton you’re not only supporting Aussie farmers, but their communities also. It’s grown on home soil with less water and pesticides. And being a natural fibre its breathable, durable and built to last.

Sad news during the week and one I’ve got many thoughts on. I’ve been reading a lot of opinions on the collapse of Cue and Veronika Maine and I can appreciate all of them, both from the perspective of a consumer and a stylist.

But I want to present a POV that I think should also be part of the conversation… have we simply stopped making an effort? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I meant it when I said that the retail staff in Cue & VM stores are some of the best in the biz. They’re the faces of the brand we interact with when we go shopping. We ask them for help, we share our concerns, our frustrations, our stories, and they listen. To all the amazing women who’ve assisted me over the years, thank you 🙏🏻

Black Tailored Trouser! You got a pair?

According to my recent poll, 35% of you do but don’t wear them, another 35% still wear (I’m guessing mostly for work) and the rest don’t own a pair… anymore?

You can use these ideas if you’re part of the 70% and for the rest of you, perhaps you need a pair? 🤣

You can of course use this inspiration with any tailored pant in your wardrobe (whatever the colour) The point is to WEAR YOUR WARDROBE ✨

And come on, surely you’re all excited that I’m telling you to discard your heels for this one! 💃🏻
