This was so much fun!

I’ve had this sequin dress from Vince for a few years but every time I go to wear it, I just feel a bit blah. I adore the cut, length & colour, but the deep v does nothing for my long neck & fair complexion.

As promised, part ✌🏻

Restyling a classic shirt & denim jeans.

The shirt to be honest will probably find its away to my next rack at Her Rack it’s not as though I don’t have plenty of other shirts to work with!

The jeans on the other hand I have no plans to move on. I still love them (and most importantly, wear them!)

I’m so pleased my part👆🏻resonated with so many of you. It’s really clear I have build a community looking for inspiration beyond the ‘trends’ and over consumption 👏🏻

You don’t need new clothes, you just need to learn how to reinvent them.

If, like me, you can’t bare to part with pieces from your wardrobe that you still like but no longer wear, perhaps you just need to rethink your styling.

It’s hard not to get caught up in the cycle of new, new, new here on Instagram. But as an experienced stylist, I’d much rather encourage you to make the most of what you’ve got than needing to keep up with the latest trends… that’s f**king exhausting!

You already know it’s a wardrobe staple of Sally’s, and Juvelle is a huge denim fan too! 💙

Interestingly, Mel & Loré don’t wear jeans much! We can probably count on one hand (OK, maybe 2) the number of times we’ve seen Loré in jeans, and whilst we know Mel has a few fave pairs, she’s known more for her cool skirts and trousers.

Jeans are probably the number one pain point shared by our clients. On one hand we’ve never had so much choice, but with that choice comes confusion and overwhelm.

We love to help our clients navigate the uncertainty and find them the perfect pair of jeans 💙 trust us, they’re out there!

Today’s video is a reminder that just because our personal style evolves, doesn’t mean we have to update EVERYTHING in our wardrobes.

If you have something gathering dust (like these sling-backs) I challenge you try my “opposites attract” approach to styling. It’s my go-to styling method when I need to reinvigorate something that I still love but haven’t worn for years.

Can you think of an item in your wardrobe that you could apply this styling method to?

Ps. My Chanel’s haven’t gathered dust because I keep all my shoes in their boxes!

Stylists Sally & Lorè had some fun exploring new brands to see what they could find from labels they don’t usually shop, but still very much aligned with their personal style.

We can all be guilty of getting into a ‘brand rut’ shopping the same labels over and over. This is something we see a lot in our clients, and we love to introduce them to new retailers that still meet their personal style needs and budget.
