I designed three concepts for Upper Depot’s lager range during my NYC internship at Studio NYC; incorporating colour theory and a storyline within train-themed illustrations. The beer names all connect to one another with small links to personal meanings for the brand, for example, Critical Maas was created as the brewmasters’s last name is Maas and The Passenger is an old train line where the brewery itself is housed.

As part of the T2 x Diwali campaign, we also have some beautiful gift sets. The teas are all named after wishes one would grant to another during the celebration, such as wishing one health, happiness, and/or abundance.

Each set comes with the four different tea flavours and a golden scoop, encouraging consumers to taste the divine lights of Diwali 🪔

Focusing on the element of light and illumination as represented by the festival of Diwali, the visual approach of this campaign is centred around the beautiful handmade rangoli designs and patterns of the South-Asian culture.

Repeated throughout the packaging is a rangoli which has a clay candle in the centre, representing light.

The T2 logo has been adjusted for the campaign where the ‘2’ is written in Hindi and interlaced with the ’T’.

Accents of gold and bold colours are also seen throughout packaging, gift-sets and marketing materials.

In 2021 I was briefed by my university to create a campaign for T2 that could bring in a larger South-Asian market to the brand.

Diwali is a beautiful celebration full of colour, light and love. Known for their spices and experimental tea’s and chai’s, this T2 x Diwali campaign would be one of the best collaborations to do so, as their unique designs and gift sets capture the very essence of the festival ☕️

The rollout for this campaign in included a mix of OOH posters, new packaging, and a logo redesign.

The Don’t Sugar Coat It campaign will be shown through a variety of media touchpoints that consist of social media awareness, including Instagram posts, as well as a website and personal app which includes a community hub and podcast that can further be found on Spotify.

The app is specifically created for T1Ds where they can find the most up to date social news in the community, while also allowing them to connect with other ‘Diabuddies’ through the messaging section.

Type 1 Diabetes is the number one fastest-growing condition in Australia. Don’t Sugar Coat It a concept campaign that provides our community with information on how to best approach the subject of diabetes amongst other T1Ds, as Type 1 Diabetes is socially misdiagnosed as Type 2 Diabetes.

This campaign aids in the education of students and adults to continue in the prevention of stigma and stereotypes of the condition, as well as how one can help a peer or family member.

Have you ever thought of getting editable templates for your business? As a designer, I can understand when clients come to me asking for something more accessible, yet still within their brand guidelines. Getting a template designed allows you the freedom to change text and imagery within branding elements such as posters, feed templates, story templates, and more! We did this with Neetha’s flyer design where she can amend things like her location, services, and personal information with the click of a button.
