Stop touching your build plate!

Oils prevent bed adhesion.

Also, clean it with warm soapy water, dry it thoroughly then apply an adhesive spray.

This helps get perfect first layers, less warping on parts, avoids the dreaded blob of death and gets better print stability.

Supports are challenging at times
They can leave rough surfaces, stick too much to the part, or too little

But the solution is very easy

1. Optimise filament settings
2. Adjust top z distance if required

Bridging without supports (that actually looks good)

Most slicers don’t handle bridging properly… and that’s why your prints sag.

The issue:
Bridging prints in mid-air → filament stays round → less bonding → weak, messy bridges.

Simple fix:
Increase Bridge Flow (~1.5)
Reduce Bridge Speed (~10 mm/s)

That’s it. Cleaner bridges, less sagging, and in some cases… better than using supports.
