Nine years ago, I left a senior finance role after more than 20 years in the corporate world and took a leap into personal styling.

The past three to four years haven’t been as straightforward as I’d hoped, but clients have continued to find me—and I’m incredibly grateful for that. ♥️

For me, styling has never been about something superficial. It’s about helping people feel confident, comfortable and good in what they wear. When someone feels more like themselves, it can change how they show up in the world.💫

Meet Imashi — a brave young woman making the exciting transition from healthcare into real estate.

This weekend, I spent two hours with Jutra in her home for a wardrobe edit—and we uncovered so much potential in the clothes she already owned.

Together, we:

💫 Created new outfits from her existing wardrobe.
💫 Identified pieces that were worn out, no longer serving her or didn’t complement her complexion.
💫 Set aside clothes that could be altered to better suit her shape.
💫 Created a clear list of wardrobe gaps to guide future purchases.

A wardrobe edit isn’t about getting rid of everything and starting again. It’s about understanding what you already have, giving yourself permission to let go of what no longer works, and making thoughtful decisions about what comes next.

Like many people who have moved to Australia, Jutta has continued shopping mainly when returning to Europe, where she feels familiar with the brands and knows what to expect. This is something I hear often from clients who didn’t grow up with Australian fashion brands.

After our session, I sent her a one-page PDF with the key styling notes we discussed, Australian brands to explore for future purchases and a list of the wardrobe gaps we identified.

A little clarity can make getting dressed feel much easier—and ensure future shopping is more focused, considered and aligned with with her personal brand.
