Whilst Adlink has been affected by the Covid19 pandemic like so many small businesses. Adrian took time out to volunteer on this project. Adrian has been a student at the Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking for several years. Such fulfilling work! Can’t wait to see the end result!

Work is underway on a project which is breathing new life into the beautiful fallen White Oak (Quercus alba) on Oak Lawn at Melbourne Gardens. Rather than removing the remains of the fallen tree, our team are hard at work transforming it into a special new meeting place. The limbs will be arranged radially around the stump, to form seating, and native grasses and daffodils will emerge from garden beds surrounding the tree.

Approaching the complex woodworking elements of the project, the team were recently visited by volunteers and teachers from the Melbourne Guild of Fine Woodworking, who shared their skills. We can't wait for you to enjoy the meeting place when it's completed!

Other than being a graphic designer, project manager, small business owner, homeschooling legend Dad to 3, amongst other things!!! Adrian’s other passion is working with timber. This is his happy place!

This is Adriano cross stitching a crack down the middle of this table top. It stops the board from braking apart any further. Adriano has been attending the Guild for nearly 8 years and it an integral part of our Tuesday morning class. Hi Adriano. Hope you are doing ok.
