On this International Women’s Day, the women of AIRBAG ask that you consider supporting Djirra, a grassroots organisation working to support, protect and encourage women in crisis. 

They do this by providing legal and mental health services and representation, hosting workshops to help reconnect women to their community and culture as well as finding victims shelter and facilities.

You can support through donation online or can go and see the amazing work they’re doing in person by visiting the Koori Women’s place, a programme of Djirra. This is where all the practical, on the spot support happens and they rely on the generosity of organisations and community members, for practical and essential items such as clothing, toiletries and food relief. Toiletries are one of the hardest things to get support or funding for and yet are one of the main requests women often ask for when in need of support.
