Some flicks from a blustery afternoon at Keilor Park Recreation Reserve.

Keilor Park stayed compact and disciplined, while South pushed throughout but couldn’t break the deadlock, rattling the bar on numerous occasions.

Despite an unbeaten run now of five matches, South couldn’t find the winner in a 0-0 draw, with the hosts celebrating the point at full time.

Our final Kou Cup clash between South Melbourne and Bulleen, marking the end of a long-standing chapter with Bulleen on May 1.

Bulleen proved too strong on the night against a South side missing a number of senior regulars, with Hellas already securing qualification for the National Round of 32.

The Lions move on to face Port in the next round, while for South, attention turns to OFC Pro League finals, alongside NPL and Australia Cup commitments in the months ahead.

Big thanks to those who made parts of the Bulleen experience enjoyable along the way. Strong growth across the channels too, both in followers and engagement with both Facebook and Instagram hovering around the 10k mark. A lot of work went into that and it showed.

At the same time, developing young creatives has always been central to Kou. It is how I learned, through opportunity, real environments and hands-on experience. That pathway is something we are committed to providing because it works.

Kou Media Internship Program

We are opening opportunities for aspiring content creators and photographers to work within football clubs across the State League system.

Successful applicants will:

Cover matchday content for clubs
Gain real experience in football environments
Learn from an experienced network of creatives

Remuneration will be discussed based on various factors. This program is about giving young creatives a genuine opportunity to learn, develop and step into football media.
