With 1️⃣ week to go, it’s been brilliant to see four clubs we share a long association with earn promotion over the past few weeks.

Having worked with each of them this year, a massive congratulations to Malvern City FC (Official), South Springvale FC, Watsonia Heights Football Club and Darebin United Soccer Club.

They’re more than just clients. They’re clubs where we have great friends, and we’re genuinely excited by what they’re building and contributing to the game.

Hopefully, we can add one more club to that list next week!

𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗦

We are through to the NPL Victoria Preliminary Final after overcoming our oldest rivals, Heidelberg United, in an epic Father’s Day contest at Lakeside Stadium.

Bul Juach with a brace against his former side was enough to see us through.

Started the year working with both clubs and finished it with just one with the contract being given to my mate instead.

Despite the results over the past few weeks, I’m grateful to remain involved with clubs and people who continue to respect what we do as creatives and, more importantly, who we are as people.

Weather also was cooked!

One of the biggest things I look for when bringing people into Kou Media or Hey Kou isn’t just talent.

It’s about fit. People who understand how I work, fit into our clients’ teams and don’t make everything about themselves.

Those are generally the people who succeed, helping our clients grow while continuing to grow themselves as creators.

Talent matters. But being the right fit and a team player matters more.

Some laughter and coffee always help too! 🧋

South made their way out to the training facility at Casey Fields to take on Melbourne City on Saturday. An early brace by Bul Juach set the tone, before Andre Skapoulas sealed a 3-0 win and a place in the finals for Hellas.
