Where Sora explored balance and Sahtain celebrated Levantine heritage, Vyanj interprets Indian culinary craft through a contemporary spatial language.
The design was conceived as an immersive environment where material, light, and texture work together to elevate the dining ritual.
The Spatial Identity
The defining gesture of Vyanj lies in its layered ceiling architecture; sculpted hammered copper elements that create rhythm and depth while drawing the eye upward. This crafted canopy anchors the room, giving the space both intimacy and presence, while symbolically referencing the idea of Chakras.
Material Narrative
The palette is warm and tactile: deep woods, burnished copper, stone surfaces, and rich leather. These materials evoke familiarity and craftsmanship while maintaining a refined, contemporary atmosphere.
Light as Atmosphere
Lighting plays a quiet but essential role. Suspended bespoke copper fixtures and focused table lighting create pools of warmth across the dining floor, allowing the surrounding architecture to recede softly into shadow.
The Brand Experience
Beyond the interior architecture, the branding and visual identity were developed as an extension of the spatial language ensuring that every touchpoint, from menus to material finishes, speaks the same design vocabulary.
Like the other spaces within The Primo, Vyanj was designed not simply as a restaurant, but as part of a connected ecosystem of hospitality experiences.
Grateful to continue this journey with The Primo family and an incredible team of collaborators.
