Before I open a single file, I ask:

ā€˜What does this brand protect visually, above everything else?’

Not what it looks like. Not what colours it uses. What it protects.

That question becomes the filter every design decision passes through for the rest of the month. It’s what keeps five brands visually separate when I’m working across all of them at once.

It’s also the thing that stops guessing. And guessing is where revisions come from.

When a graphic is designed without the full picture, without knowing the content arc, the campaign context, or what the brand is building toward that month, the decisions made in those 20 minutes are always going to be reactive.

Reactive design isn’t bad design. It’s just design that’s doing less than it could.

When visuals are built from the full content plan at the start of the month, every single piece is doing intentional work.
