Happy Launch Day!

Recently, I’ve enjoyed working with Emma to help bring her debut novel to life - Violet Within.

Violet Within reflects Emma’s steadfast dedication to amplifying Autistic voices and celebrating difference. And with her story, Emma crafts a heartfelt coming-of-age story that follows teenager Violet as she experiences many firsts — her first close-knit friend group, her first party, and her first boyfriend. Committed to increasing diversity in publishing, Emma applies her PhD in English Literature (with a focus on Disability Studies) to contribute meaningful representation for neurodivergent readers.

Cover Reveal ✨

Anxiety is a Bitch is a humorously wrapped tale of one woman’s journey as she navigates motherhood, marriage and general existence with anxiety. This book is dear to my heart as a personal endurance member of anxiety but also from Amie’s sense of humour. She is really endearing and funny AF.

A little teaser of an illustration I finished last week.

After watching the IMAX documentary ‘Fungi - the Web of Life,’ I was mesmerised by its cinematography. The vivid visuals of spores drifting on the wind, mist evaporating, and insects thriving really captivated my imagination.

My Chanterelle Mushroom illustration is a first of many mushrooms in my cottagecore series, which delves into the intricate details of nature at a minuscule level.

Between client work, I have enjoyed letting my imagination wonder by drawing for fun.

My designs are inspired by whimsical, cosy cottage vibes, and I adore creating artwork for fellow introverts — those who cherish quiet spaces, books, a warm brew and soft sunshine with nature.

Now I use Little Nook Creative’s shop as my creative haven, where I nurture my soul by diving into my skills and imagination for personal growth and pleasure.

I’ve had an incredible few months with Little Nook Creative. During those moments of reflection, I realised why life has been so enjoyable lately.

Then the light bulb went off.
Throughout my life, I’ve always been drawn to Art, English, and Literature classes. By chance, I discovered that each milestone in the book publishing journey aligned with my personal passions.

This all unfolded naturally, without any grand design or higher foresight. I simply pursued what ignited my spirit and never gave up. Each project and client introduced me to new experiences and knowledge, and having Little Nook Creative nurture my personal passions has been the most gratifying aspect.

So, thank you, world, and thank you, dear clients.
