Speak the Wind: Hoda Afshar - Monash Gallery of Art / AGDA Awards

Excited to share that Speak the Wind picked up a distinction at this years AGDA Design awards!!

Of the 1,720 entries, 41 finalists were selected in the Spatial Design category, with only 3 exhibitions receiving the coveted award.

A big thank you to the team at MGA. Teamwork makes the dreamwork, and it always helps to work with such a trusting group of clients (and such beautiful photography!).

Long live ITALIANALITY™

We are proud to announce that our 23 year collaboration with Ronnie Di Stasio and Mallory Wall has again been acknowledged at the 2022 Eat Drink Design Awards with a commendation for Best Identity Design for Di Stasio Carlton.

This follows on from the duel wins for Bar Di Stasio in 2013 for Best Identity Design and Best Bar Design (in collaboration with Robert Simoni Architects and Callum Morton). And a win in 2015 for Best Installation Design for the New Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale facade intervention at Cafe/Bar Di Stasio.

We would also like to congratulate Di Ritter at Hasell for winning the 2022 Best Restaurant Design for Di Stasio Carlton, which follows on from the Di Stasio Citta win for Best Restaurant Design in 2019.

Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club | Signage and Wayfinding

Congratulations to JCB Architects on receiving the award for Public Architecture at the 2022 AIA Victorian Architecture Awards.

Jury citation: "The Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club displays Jackson Clements Burrows’ architectural skill, social and environmental concern, and aptitude at distilling the client’s brief into a resolved public building. The building clearly displays both the client and project team's ambition to create a shared meeting place and asset for the club and the broader community of Point Lonsdale."

A further congratulations to the broader project team for such a wonderful collaborative effort!
