She’d been carrying this idea for years.

Safety jewellery. One move and a woman can leave a situation without explaining herself.

A product that could genuinely change lives and she almost talked herself out of believing it was possible.

We found her a factory before the trip. When she walked in and saw it, the people, the process, the materials, something shifted.

On the bus driving away she went quiet. Then she said: “This can really happen.”

That’s what this trip does.

This is Liz. She came on last year’s India trip.

‘The value it brought to my business in the week we were there would have taken years to do if I had tried to do it on my own.’

She’s coming back in August. That’s the only review you need.

One spot left. DM me INDIA. 🇮🇳

Six women booked this trip before we had an itinerary.

Before we had a price.

Before I had even finished putting the brochure together.

And honestly? That’s my favourite part.

Because nobody comes on these trips for the hotels, the dinners or the sightseeing.

They come because they want access.

Access to suppliers.
Access to manufacturers.
Access to opportunities they didn’t know existed.
Access to conversations that completely change the trajectory of their business.

The funny thing is, every single person thinks they’re coming to find a supplier.

And they do.

But what they usually leave with is so much more.

Confidence.
Clarity.
Connections.
A completely different way of thinking about what’s possible.

This September we’re heading back to India for a curated experience through Delhi, Udaipur and an optional Jaipur extension. Think trade shows, factory visits, artisan workshops, incredible food, luxury hotels and some of the most inspiring conversations you’ll ever have with other founders.

Six spots are already gone.

And now we’ve finally finished the itinerary.

DM INDIA if you’d like the details.

When people first enquire about my sourcing trips, they usually tell me they want help finding suppliers.

And yes, they absolutely do.

But after taking dozens of founders to China and India over the years, I’ve realised the biggest transformation has very little to do with suppliers.

It’s confidence.

- Confidence to ask questions.
- Confidence to negotiate.
- Confidence to trust their instincts.
- Confidence to stop second-guessing every decision.

There is something incredibly powerful about stepping away from your laptop and seeing it all in real life.

Meeting suppliers face-to-face.
Walking through factories.
Touching materials.
Seeing what’s possible.

I regularly watch founders arrive feeling overwhelmed and leave with a completely different belief in themselves and their business.

The suppliers are important.

But they’re not the thing that changes everything.

India now has just one spot remaining and Canton is filling quickly.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, send me a DM with the either INDIA or CHINA and I’ll send through the details ✈️

Day 13 — final day in China ✈️

And somehow… after nearly two weeks, it was just LK, JY and me left wrapping everything up.

One thing people probably don’t realise is that while we had clients with us in person…

We were also sourcing for another 6 businesses back in Australia at the same time.

So our final day was spent:

picking up samples

checking fabrics

confirming production details

reviewing packaging

and making sure everything was ready to move forward

And honestly… this part never gets old.

Watching women go from:“I have an idea but no clue where to start…”

To:real products,real samples,real production,real businesses.

It’s honestly one of the coolest parts of what I do ❤️

Also… I accidentally signed a factory wall in crayon because apparently I can’t tell the difference between a whiteboard marker and a crayon after 13 days in China 😂

So that felt like a very fitting way to end the trip

Day 12 was probably the most random day of the entire trip 😅

After officially finishing all of our sourcing, we unexpectedly ended up with a slow morning…

Which somehow led us to:

an ice rink

an aquarium

an arcade

and a random jungle zoo on the top floor of a shopping centre 😂

Honestly? After nearly two weeks of factories, sourcing and trade fairs, it was the perfect reset.

There were sloths, miniature pigs and genuinely the cutest sheep I’ve ever seen in my life 😭

Then it was straight back into business mode finalising ALL of Kaz’s products with LK and JY before saying goodbye to the final group ❤️

One thing I never expect on these trips is how quickly everyone becomes close.

You arrive as strangers and somehow leave feeling like you’ve known each other forever ✈️

Only 5,000 steps today… which honestly felt very different to our usual Canton Fair marathons

I accidentally found my next business idea at Canton Fair 😅

Day 11.

We’d officially finished sourcing for all of the brands… so instead of our usual categories we decided to explore the med tech section of the fair.

And honestly?
The level of innovation in China is insane.

But the real highlight of the day was an automatic coffee machine that I became irrationally obsessed with 😂

Like… so obsessed that I actually went back on our final day to get pricing and seriously investigate it as a business idea hahaha.

Unfortunately nobody else seems quite as excited by my coffee robot dreams as I am ☕️

We also spent the afternoon exploring Beijing Pedestrian Street and visiting Dafo Temple, which is over 1,000 years old.

One thing China does so well is contrast.

Ancient history sitting right beside insane modern innovation.

14,000 steps later and tomorrow we unexpectedly have a slow morning now that all of our Canton Fair sourcing is officially complete 😅
