After 36 years of successful leadership at Opening Roof Specialists, our founder and Managing Director, Alex Pataky has made the difficult decision to retire.

Opening Roof Specialists will be acquired by DECO Australia on 1st February 2024, with Scott Reed appointed as the General Manager.

DECO Australia offers a wide range of aluminium products like DecoDeck, DecoBatten and DecoClad that perfectly complement our high quality Opening Roofs. We are so thrilled that our customers will have access to an extensive product range to transform their outdoor space and lifestyle.

Opening Roof Specialists will continue operating with the same dedicated and professional team who are committed to providing our customers with a high quality product and service.

Lastly, a final word from our leader, Alex Pataky:

‘For 36 years, I’ve had the honour and priviledge to lead a wonderful team of professionals who strive every day to deliver the best service and product to our customers. Phase 1 of the new MAAD Creative website is complete.

It will be an ongoing project to build out more sections of the website, including the Blog, Projects, Service pages, Resources, and other useful things as I see fit.

This project began in 2019. It's been on the backburner for too long because my plan was to complete the site and launch it with all parts completed. This was a barrier to progress.

So, I took my own advice and decided to phase the project. Get it rolling with a very clear view of services, and add value through the other sections in order of priority.
