If you’re new here - I’m really glad you found your way in.
If you’ve been here for a while, thank you for sticking around!

I’m Leah, the face behind Snappystreet Creative -
an audio + visual content studio based in Sydney.

Which is a slightly fancy way of saying…
I help you create photos, videos and podcasts you actually feel excited to share.

Now, yes - I do wear a few hats.

And behind the scenes, it all comes back to one thing:
telling your story in a way that feels natural, not forced.

Because most of my clients come to me feeling a mix of:

Your headshot doesn’t need to be stiff or overly corporate.
It doesn’t need to scream “serious business person”.

I love this part of a shoot.

Once everyone’s comfortable, sitting down, having a chat - that’s usually when the smiles turn into real smiles.
The shoulders drop. The overthinking disappears. Things just start to feel easy!

This moment was captured during a recent brand session and it’s such a good reminder that great photos don’t need to feel forced or overly planned.
Sometimes the best images come from simply slowing down and letting yourself settle into the space.

2025 saw so many incredible women stepping forward in their business.

They booked the brand shoots they’d been thinking about forever.
They ran events with rooms full of amazing women.
They hosted retreats that actually changed people.
They launched podcasts… and kept showing up.

And honestly?

Every single one of them was nervous!
Not a little bit. A do I really want to do this?? amount.

They were all saying things like:
“I’ll do it when I feel more ready.”
“I just need a bit more time.”
“Once this busy season is over.”

(FYI: the busy season never ends.)

They didn’t suddenly feel confident.
They just got a bit tired of carrying the idea around in their head.

So they did it anyway.
With a deep breath.
With slightly shaky hands.
With that okay cool, guess we’re doing this feeling.

From the outside, it looks confident and sorted.
From the inside, it usually feels like figuring it out as you go… but on purpose.

If you’re reading this thinking, “Yep, that’s me… but I’m not there yet,” you’re not behind. You’re just at the part before the thing happens.

And if this is the year you finally want to tick off the photos, the podcast, the content you keep mentally rescheduling — you don’t have to do it in a stressful, overcomplicated way.

There is a very specific kind of relief that comes from ticking something off your to-do list that has been haunting you for ages.

Not the fun, quick tasks.
The ones that loom.

The ones you’ve overthought.
Built up.
Made into a whole thing in your head.

Brand photos tend to live right there.

Because it’s not really about the photos.
It’s about the planning.
What to wear.
What to bring.
What you’re even meant to do when you get there.
(And yes , all of that can spiral very quickly!)

This is usually the part where people stall.
Not because they don’t want the photos.
But because their brain is already tired just thinking about organising it.

Which is why I don’t leave you to figure it out alone.

There’s a helpful checklist.
And a questionnaire.
There’s a very clear “okay, here’s what we’re doing” moment!

You don’t need to hold it all in your head.
It’s taken care of.

And once it’s done?

You stop recycling the same three images!
Posting gets easier.
Your brain frees up a surprising amount of space.

Tick.
Off.
The.
List.

Hi, I’m Leah 👋
And if January only just let you catch your breath, same.

I’m the human behind Snappystreet Creative. I help business owners with content that actually gets used - brand photos, team and event photography, podcasts, and voiceovers.

The end of 2025 kicked off with tonsillitis (rude!), school holiday juggle (relatable!), and somehow still included two photoshoots while I was technically on leave. When past clients come knocking, I’m will never say no! (thank you for trusting me again - you know who you are!)

This year my business word is connection - more real conversations, more time with clients, less hiding behind a screen.
My personal word is consistency - gentle, realistic consistency.

That’s honestly the best feedback I could ask for. These sessions aren’t about overthinking or posing perfectly - they’re about capturing you as you are, doing what you do best.

We chatted, laughed, tried a few ideas, and before long, Mai already had a stack of photos she loved.

That’s the magic of keeping it simple — when you’re relaxed, the real you comes through.

When I photographed Kylie and the team at we turned a regular workday into a relaxed morning of laughs, connection, and genuinely capturing who they are as a team.

We worked within their beautiful office space to create a mix of fresh team shots and updated individual photos that feel real - not just “corporate”.

So if your website or LinkedIn is still rocking headshots from 2018, maybe it’s time to finally tick this off your list before the year wraps up!
