Why I suggest using Instagram Edits instead of editing in Instagram:

1. Less lag and chance of loosing your drafts to glitch
2. A whole section for inspiration and sounds that relate to your content
3. More seamless editing design - easier if you have a hard time with the smaller buttons on the Instagram interface
4. Keeps and links all your saved sounds/videos from your instagram account
5. Has a section to view all your insights 📈

Having a whole other app for editing and insights is actually the best way to move forwards, because as I'm sure we all experienced the slow lag or sometimes loosing all our work after 1.5hr of editing 1 reel, it's because instagram was loading too much onto one app. But now we can do so much more on the Edits app, they have uploaded so many more filters, fonts and transitions as well and they are uploading more every month.

What the heck are reposts????
Let me explain... Reposts are instagrams newest update and in my opinion ✨ THE BEST EDITION TO INSTAGRAM IN YEARS ✨

You can now repost other peoples posts/reels and it will appear on your followers feed!! Drawing new attention and a new audience to these new creators that they perhaps have never seen before.

And it works the other way around, if someone reposts your content a whole new audience is more likely to see it now!

Ever since this update people and business's have been benefiting from reposting each other's content but more so people who outside of your own circles. Speaking from my own experience I have seen posts double in views or likes straight after a repost by an account with a brand new audience!

Take advantage of the new update and don't be afraid of reposting!!

🕰️ What is the best time to post? 🕰️
When you take the time to craft a post or a reel it can bee a real blow if it doesn't reach your target audience or if it doesn't get the views or likes you were hoping for. One sure fire way to secure your post in the algorithm is scheduling it or posting it when your followers are the most active.

This is typically just when they are waking up to check their phone (early morning ☀️) or getting home from work (mid afternoon 🌇)

As a social media manager, I suggest posting when your followers are at their most active as this gives your post the highest and best opportunity for success, and this is an easy statistic to find in your instagram account as well!

Growth or success doesn't have a time limit or a list of prerequisites, every post that under achieves is not a failure but an opportunity for you to learn what works for your audience.

Sometimes we let something as simple as posting schedules get away from us and it ruins months of hard work.

Posting schedules is one of the most important things in maintaining a presence online ✨️

But post too often and you risk annoying or alienating your followers... don't post enough and you risk missing out on potential opportunities coming around the corner.

So what's the perfect balance? ⚖️

Most experts say "posting more then 2-3 times a day is desiered limit" but I believe that even this is excessive for businesses that are just starting to get back into the social media game or are just starting out. Posting even once a week will do wonders for your online presence and ensuring that you reach new clients and followers.

But if you are a high achiever by all means shoot for the stars 🌟 and go for that 2-3 a day!!!
