Have you ever felt like everyone else got the instruction manual… except you?

For a long time, I thought needing checklists, notes, reminders, and systems for everything was a weakness.

There were moments I’d forget something important.
Moments I’d make a typo.
Moments I’d realise I’d forgotten to explain part of my process to a client.

And honestly? It was frustrating.

As someone living with a disability, I’ve spent a lot of my life navigating systems that weren’t built with me in mind. I’ve experienced the anxiety of not knowing the next step, the overwhelm of trying to remember everything, and the stress that comes from unclear communication.

Over time, I realised something important.

The problem wasn’t that I needed support structures.

The problem was expecting myself to function without them.

So I built systems for everything.

Discovery call cheat sheets.
Detailed notes.
Client guides.
Checklists.
Workflow reminders.
Clear communication at every stage.

And more recently, I’ve been working with an AI expert and implementing new business systems that help me strengthen those processes even further.

Not because I want my business to feel automated.

Because I want my clients to feel supported.

Because when you’re planning a wedding or a building a business, you shouldn’t have to wonder what happens next.

You shouldn’t have to chase updates.

You shouldn’t have to carry the mental load of remembering every little detail yourself.

One of the biggest lessons my disability has taught me is that great client experience isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about making people feel informed, supported, and cared for.

And that’s something I bring into every project I create.

Have you ever looked at a wedding stationery checklist and immediately felt overwhelmed? 💌

One minute you’re researching invitations.

The next you’re seeing details cards, RSVP cards, menus, place cards, welcome signs, seating charts and somehow everyone online is telling you to order everything NOW.

I see it all the time.

Couples aren’t overwhelmed because there’s too much stationery.

They’re overwhelmed because nobody explains when they actually need it.

The truth is, wedding stationery happens in stages.

🤍 12+ months out → Save the Dates

🤍 8–6 months out → Invitations

🤍 6–4 months out → RSVP cards & details cards

🤍 4–3 months out → Menus, place cards, seating charts & signage

My biggest piece of advice?

Aim to have your stationery finalised by around 3 months before your wedding.

That gives you breathing room for printing, deliveries and those last-minute wedding tasks that always pop up.

Wedding planning is stressful enough.

Your stationery shouldn’t be.
