We find that google ads are usually pretty tricky to understand 🤷🏼‍♀️

A google ad is usually a small paragraph of text that you pay to appear at the top of a page when someone searches for anything related to your product/service. It can also be an image or video that appears around content on websites that your customers look at 😎

In both cases, you pay to appear either for searches or next to content that your customers like. The benefit of this is you appear in front of people that are interested in looking for your product or service! This isnt google reviews, SEO or web design (we will cover this in future posts).

Here’s why:
▪️Instagram is part of Meta, which means that you get access to Instagram and Facebook at the same time
▪️Using Meta Business tools, you can create ads and schedule content all in the one place
▪️Most people who have accounts elsewhere will have an Instagram or Facebook account first - meaning your audience is already here
▪️Instagram has great ecommerce tools, which can act as a store front for your customers to purchase from

Before we start, when we say "organic social media" we mean anything that appears in your feed without a sponsor tag (because thats an ad!).

The short answer is this kind of content doesn't reach as many people. Relying on this alone is a slow process to grow your audience aka customer base. BUT it is an important way to educate your customers, entertain them, grow your brand and share your personality - all things that are hard to do without meeting someone face to face 🤔

So, invest in really good content design so when people do find you, they understand you 😁
