Our last Good Hunter was a bit of a challenging one... in a good way.
Matt Steele from Changeroom joined us for brekky and introduced us to Bowen Family Systems Theory; a different way of looking at leadership, relationships and the patterns we all get caught up in.
How do I respond when someone else is under pressure? How much of their response am I carrying?
And what am I bringing into the relationships around me without realising it?
It was insightful, easy to understand and really practical. Looking at, questioning, our reactions, patterns and our ability to stay clear, connected and thoughtful when things get tough or messy.
There’s a lot in that for leadership, but probably just as much for being a good human.
A massive thank you to Matt for leading the conversation so generously, and to everyone who joined us for coffee, brekky and some honest conversation.
This is exactly what we hoped Good Hunter could be: a small room, good people, useful ideas and space to wrestle with the things that actually matter.
See you at the next one!
