✦ The Brow and Lash Lab by Liz ✦

My favourite project to date, and I am so happy with how it all came together!!
The vibe we were looking for was clean and minimalistic, with a pinch of femininity.

This vision was achieved with a simple serif font, paired with a minimal icon that gently symbolises both eyelashes and radiant sun rays. Add in the dreamy colour palette with a dash of pink and there you have it!

Hello branding refresh ♻️🌱

I’ve recently refreshed my brand visuals and updated my logo to better fit me and how I’ve grown as a self taught designer.

I think one of the hardest things to do for a designer is to do your own branding. For a time, I was upset that I wanted to change my branding again…but ultimately I put in the hours upon hours of work to really find a solution that felt truely like me.

I can’t say it was easy, but here we are with a brand new set of colours and a tweaked logo. In the end I’m happy I have gone through these stages of growth. Going back through and updating everything has helped me realise how much better Ive gotten at picking out ideas and how much faster I am with my tools.

Showcasing a variety of content styles including educational and sales.

You want to try and post varying content, so that you are bringing new followers in, nurturing them and providing value, and also showcasing your product or service.
It gets annoying if all you are doing is posting trying to sell sell sell.
Try to include posts that foster a more personal connection so your followers can get to know you.

Here's a look at the business cards designed for Reset IT.
(Check out my last post for the logo variations.)

Effective business card designs have:
- Your logo, nice and clear, in high resolution
- Your contact info in an easy to read font, and a decent size
- Good contrast between colours, for accessibility
- All elements inside the safe zone (5mm in from the edge)

Logo suite design for an IT company. Swipe through to see each variation!

I kept the computerised vibes with a blocky main font, paired with a modern clean sans serif to convey the professionalism this business offers.
For the colour palette, I made sure to pick colours that would help them stand out from the ever popular generic blues of the IT industry.
