👋 It's with a bit of sadness, (but a lot of excitement!), that after eight wonderful years, it's time for Shorthand Studio to close. I'll be joining the wonderful people at Endeavour Group as a UI Designer.

I wanted to take this opportunity to do some well-deserved shout-outs. To my husband Scott Kirkman, the studio would not have been what it was without you. Scott moved on from the studio in early 2020 to work with our wonderful clients at Coassemble, and it's been a joy to see him thrive there. The same can also be said for our designer, Samuel Blomley who spent three years with us, and now also joins the ranks at Coassemble — we were very lucky to work with such a talented creative, (and a top-notch person!)

We've partnered with developers, illustrators, photographers, printers, and writers from all across the country — with a special mention to Jessica Currie whom I've had the joy of working with near-monthly on projects big and small for many years.

Lastly, to our clients — we wouldn't be here without you. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.

New work; logo set for Maitland's newest premium mechanic, Euro Precision Automotive. The EP monogram brandmark gives a nod to art deco, inspired by the workshops premises and European car focus.

New work; monogram for textile artist Meredith Woolnough Artist. The logo features her initials and intertwining loops to reference her beautiful artwork — both in appearance and unique methodology.
