Thank you to Blair Sleeman and the CSi Club Southport team for a magical Saturday evening at Symphony in the Sky.

On the night it was easy to forget that we were at a Community Club. It's not everyday that an event so extraordinary comes together, it's safe to say that the team at Southport are seriously going above and beyond. It's such a wonderful thing to see this level of creativity and big picture thinking go towards to bringing the community together for beautiful shared experiences, and to raise support for an incredible cause in the Gold Coast Centre Against Sexual Violence.

Thanks to Ross Dowd, GM at Brothers Bundaberg Group, Mitch Zillfleisch, VM at Burleigh Sports, Andrew Fisher, and Connor Aldridge for joining us on the HTIC table. And an extra special thank you to Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra, it was truly spectacular!

Something we don’t talk about enough is that almost all of our team came up through hospitality before they joined Hop To It Collective.

Tom is a stand out example. He spent years working across large clubs in Brisbane and on the Coast as a gaming supervisor and promotional host, so he’s genuinely been there and done that. When he builds a promotion now, he’s thinking about the team trying to run it on a packed Saturday night just as much as the members taking part.

That lived experience is a big part of why we’re so proud to be part of this industry.

It's International Burger Day, a day that we take very seriously 🍔

Plus it's a good reason to show off some of the burger photography we've shot for venues lately. Needless to say, these photoshoots really test our self-control.

If you're running a club or pub, days like this can be an easy win - a quick special, a sharp bit of artwork, a photo that actually makes someone hungry. We're always happy to help with small promotions like this.

We've got the camera work covered but the real credit for these mouthwatering photos goes to the sensational kitchen teams at Lionsatspringwood, Club Burleigh, Club Parkview and Coolangatta Surf Club.

What is the single most powerful driver of customer loyalty in the Australian hospitality industry?

Is it a well-designed loyalty program with a matching app? Surprisingly, no.

Is it a compelling food and beverage offer? Important, certainly, but not decisive.

Is it consistent service standards, a deep understanding of customer behaviour, measurable CX-metrics, data-informed personalisation, and a coherent omnichannel engagement strategy?

These things matter. We help venues build them. We believe in them. We are passionate about them.

The most powerful driver of customer loyalty in the Australian hospitality industry is whether the person behind the bar looks genuinely pleased to see you.

🎉🍸 Hold onto your cocktail shakers Salt Bar fans! It's officially been a year since our General Manager Lloyd swooped into Salt Bar Hamilton and turned our bar into the best place for shenanigans and epic sips! 🎊🙌

In just 365 days, Lloyd has mixed up cocktails like a wizard, united our team like a band of misfits, and built relationships with suppliers smoother than a perfectly blended drink! 🍹👩‍🍳

He’s also the genius behind our new food menu, ensuring we do the best we can in the space we love! 🥗❤️

It's official, we've set sails ⛵

Club Macleay is officially on board with Hop to It Collective for Engagement Marketing Services, and yes, before anyone asks, we are counting Macleay Island as overseas.

We're on board for Graphic Design, Social Media and Engagement, and the energy from Andrew, Becks and the team has been amazing from day one!

Community clubs are our happy place. They're the heartbeat of their towns, and exactly the kind of venue Hop To It was built for.

Fun fact: they're also our first marketing client from NSW. We've proposed a truce, no Origin jerseys in the boardroom, verdict pending. 👀
