So sad to hear this - Dolly was a joy in some many lives and such a strong women - RIP lovely lady 🩷

Country music legend Dolly Parton has died aged 80.

The Tennessee-born singer-songwriter sold more than 100 million records worldwide and won 11 Grammy Awards, with hits including Jolene, 9 to 5, and I Will Always Love You.

Beyond music, Parton was a successful actress, entrepreneur and philanthropist, helping establish Dollywood and founding her Imagination Library literacy program.

Dolly's death was confirmed on her official Instagram, where nephew Bryan Seaver delivered a video tribute, saying her family would work to ensure "her spirit will live with us forever."
